My Vogue Style Friday Adventures

Hello beautiful people,

Yes, I had Friday off from work and decided to go out on an adventure. I was in the look for the best tacos in NYC. As I have been researching for days and days I decided to go to Tacos No. 1. I decided to go here after I saw Aziz Ansari mention them in this show Master of None.

Tacos No. 1 is located inside of Chelsea Market. As soon as I go in I just fall in love. The market is just so gorgeous and has so many food options. I was getting scared of not finding the taco place but I did! When I got there the line was big but I saw on the reviews that it is always like that and that it goes fast. Yes, I was prepared and educated for this day. So I stood in line and in fact it went very fast. As I was getting closer to order I was getting tears in my eyes. They were playing Mexican music, speaking in Spanish and it just looked real.

After I got my tacos I ran to somewhere to eat them, as you can see, the picture is blurry just because of how excited I was. First thoughts? I don’t know, I didn’t think mostly because I ate both in 2 minutes. After the last bite a tear came down of how good and how close it felt to home.

But no more emotions, I walked around the market and found a lot of interesting things. Sadly I am poor and couldn’t buy anything. Then, I realized I still had a lot of the day free and I was not just going to stay in my room all day. So I took a sudden decision to go to Tipsy Scoop.

They are becoming kinda famous because of their alcohol infused ice cream. And as soon as I get there, there was a small line out the outside of the shop. But I walked all the way there and had to try it. After 5 minutes of waiting I looked back and there was a line 3 times bigger than when I got there. Nothing is better than good timing! When I finally got to order I decided to pic the seasonal choice. It was $10.34 for the one that I got, which is a 2 Patron scoops and a churro bowl. To be honest, I did not taste the Patron at all which is disappointing mostly because that is the point of this ice cream place. But that couldn’t beat my happiness of being in the city and walking around while eating ice cream.

Hopefully all of you had an amazing long weekend. Thank you for reading!
