Hello beautiful people, it is again the middle of the week and it is time for me to bring a new DIY. I begun this section during spring break when I had a lot of free time and now that it is summer hopefully I can do way more of these. DIY crafts are always my favorite because they keep me super entertained and who doesn’t like to make pretty and/or delicious things right?
Since summer is here I thought it would be a great idea to make refreshing beverages, now this does not only consist in drinking cold soda. As I am trying to stay healthy (yeah right) and have delicious things at the same time I thought it would be nice to have one of those fruit-infused drinks that I´ve seen everywhere. They just seem so pretty and delicious, if you would like to learn how to make one then you are in the right place!
Things you will need:
Ice Tray (mine is silicone to get the ice out easily)
A cup or in my case a mason jar cup
Sugar (if you want)
Cut the strawberries and the kiwi in very small pieces like shown below, this will allow the fruit to fit in the ice tray with no problem.
Place the strawberry and kiwi chunks with water in the ice tray, I did added about 5 pieces in each heart so that the water could still fit. Then after your are done place the tray in the fridge for about 2 to 3 hours until they are completely frozen.
After you have your pieces of ice ready what I did is that I placed on the cup some of the remaining fruit to add more flavor. I did not only just add it but with a spoon I pressed on the fruit to make the drink more delicious!
After you have pressed on the fruit get ready to add water, the ice cubes, and if you would like you can add sugar. I realized that mine was very citric so adding sugar was a good option, I also decorated it with a lime on the side. And let me tell you that I bet it will be better if instead of using regular water you add sparkling water!
I hope you enjoyed this super easy DIY if you try it at home leave your opinions in the comments section!
